SBIR Grant Program

The Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) program reserves a portion of federal R&D funding for small businesses. Phase I awards up to $275,000; Phase II up to $1.83 million. Participating agencies include NIH, NSF, DOD, and DOE. Businesses retain IP rights.
