Irvine Home Occupation Permit

Irvine's Zoning Ordinance permits home occupations as accessory uses in residential districts subject to conditions. The business must be clearly secondary to the residential use, must not employ non-residents on the premises, and must not generate customer traffic or exterior evidence of commercial activity. A Home Occupation Permit must be obtained from the Community Development Department before operating.
